At The Wooden Floor Specialists Ltd, we take great care to ensure every product reaches you safely and in perfect condition. Many of our flooring products are heavy, natural materials and require specialist transport and handling.
Delivery Areas
We deliver throughout the United Kingdom. For deliveries outside the UK, please contact us directly to discuss arrangements.
Delivery Times
Delivery times vary depending on the product ordered.
Typical delivery estimates:
- Stock items: 3–7 working days
- Special order products: 2–6 weeks
- Bespoke or custom flooring: Lead times may vary and will be confirmed at the time of order.
We will always advise you of the expected delivery schedule once your order has been processed.
Delivery Method
Due to the weight and nature of wooden flooring, deliveries are normally made using specialist pallet carriers or dedicated transport.
Please note:
- Deliveries are typically kerbside delivery only.
- Assistance may be required to move goods into your property.
- Access must be suitable for delivery vehicles.
If access is restricted, please inform us in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements.
Delivery Charges
Delivery charges depend on:
- Order size and weight
- Delivery location
- Type of product ordered
Shipping costs will be confirmed before your order is finalised.
Receiving Your Delivery
Upon receiving your delivery:
- Please inspect the goods carefully before signing for them.
- If there is visible damage, sign the delivery note “DAMAGED” and notify us immediately.
- Any issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
Storage Before Installation
Wood flooring is a natural product and must be stored correctly before installation.
Please ensure:
- Flooring is stored indoors in a dry environment
- Packs remain unopened until acclimatisation is required
- The room conditions are suitable for wood flooring
Our team will advise on correct storage and acclimatisation where necessary.
Installation Services
Where flooring is supplied with installation by our team, delivery and logistics will be coordinated directly with you as part of the installation schedule.
