Solid oak herringbone Solid oak Herringbone 10mm x 60mm x 300mm rustic and distressed Hand finished in England The product is 10mm x 60mmx 300mm heavy distressed and tumbled for an aged original effort and is not a flat smooth finish. Distressing is a partially destructive process, it is natural and accepted side effect that there are splinters and deformed edges to the blocks. The flooring is finished with 3 coats of hardwax oil, each has been allowed to touch dry overnight after application. once production has been completed the blocks are bundled and strapped they are ready to be fitted after acclimatisation, however the hardwax oil needs 10 further days of exposure to air to fully harden off in order to give full protection under normal use. during this time there must be no wet cleaning of any kind. the floor must not be covered with anything impermeable for the first 10 days, this particularly refers to corex or similar products used by builders, as this will delay the curing process All orders are hand finished and bespoke; nothing is ready-finished/off-the-shelf. Some variationd may occur due to the hand. finshing process and the inherent properties natural materials used. a newly produced floor may vary from an old sample due to the effect of UV exposure; this is especially true for fumed samples needs ms adhesive to stick
